- 'Potter, this is Oliver Wood. Wood – I've found you a Seeker.'
Wood's expression changed from puzzlement to delight. 'Are you serious, Professor?' 'Absolutely,' said Professor McGonagall crisply. 'The boy's a natural. I've never seen anything like it. Was that your first time on a broomstick, Potter?' Harry nodded silently… 'He caught that thing in his hand after a fifty-foot dive… Didn't even scratch himself…' (PS9) - Citation :
- 'This will be a bit of a shock,' said Professor McGonagall in a surprisingly
gentle voice as they approached the hospital wing. 'There has been another attack… another double attack.' (CS14) - Citation :
- 'Potter! Weasley! What are you doing?'
It was Professor McGonagall, and her mouth was the thinnest of thin lines. 'We were – we were –' Ron stammered, 'we were going to – to go and see –' 'Hermione,' said Harry. Ron and Professor McGonagall both looked at him. 'We haven't seen her for ages, Professor,' Harry went on hurriedly, treading on Ron's foot, 'and we thought we'd sneak into the hospital wing, you know, and tell her the Mandrakes are nearly ready and, er, not to worry.' Professor McGonagall was still staring at him, and for a moment, Harry thought she was going to explode, but when she spoke, it was in a strangely croaky voice. 'Of course,' she said, and Harry, amazed, saw a tear glistening in her beading eye. 'Of course, I realise this has all been hardest on the friends of those who have been… I quite understand. Yes, Potter, of course you may visit Miss Granger, I will inform Professor Binns where you've gone. Tell Madam Pomfrey I have given you permission.' (CS16) - Citation :
- 'Do watch where you're going, Potter!'
'Sorry, Professor –' 'I've just been looking for you in the Gryffindor common room. Well, here it is, we've done everything we could think of, and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it at all – you've got a very good friend somewhere, Potter…' Harry's jaw dropped. She was holding out his Firebolt, and it looked as magnificent as ever. 'I can have it back?' Harry said weakly. 'Seriously?' 'Seriously,' said Professor McGonagall, and she was actually smiling. 'I daresay you'll need to get a feel of it before Saturday's match, won't you? And Potter- do try and win, won't you? Or we'll be out of the running for the eighth year in a row, as Professor Snape was kind enough to remind me only last night…' (PA12) - Citation :
- 'An unworthy trick!' she [Professor McGonagall] was shouting. 'A low
and cowardly attempt to sabotage the Gryffindor Seeker! Detention for all of you, and fifty points from Slytherin! I shall be speaking to Professor Dumbledore about this, make no mistake! Ah, here he comes now!' (PA13) - Citation :
- Professor McGonagall went straight to Harry.
'Come along, Potter,' she whispered. The think line of her mouth was twitching as though she was about to cry. 'Come along… hospital wing.' 'No,' said Dumbledore sharply. 'Dumbledore, he ought to – look at him – he's been through enough tonight –' (GF35) - Citation :
- 'Is it true that you shouted at Professor Umbridge?'
'Yes,' said Harry. 'You called her a liar?' 'Yes.' 'You told her He Who Must Not Be Named is back?' 'Yes.' Professor McGonagall sat down behind her desk, frowning at Harry. Then she said, 'Have a biscuit, Potter.' 'Have – what?' 'Have a biscuit,' she repeated impatiently, indicating a tartan tin lying on top of one of the piles of papers on her desk. 'And sit down.' (OP12) - Citation :
- 'What do you mean, you saw it happen?' said Professor McGonagall,
her dark eyebrows contracting. 'I don't know… I was asleep and then I was there…' 'You mean you dreamed this?' … 'I'm not lying and I'm not mad!' Harry told her, his voice rising to a shout. 'I tell you, I saw it happen!' 'I believe you, Potter,' said Professor McGonagall curtly. 'Put on your dressing gown – we're going to see the Headmaster.' (OP21) - Citation :
- 'Potter,' she [Professor McGonagall] said in ringing tones, 'I will
assist you to become an Auror if it is the last thing I do! If I have to coach you nightly, I will make sure you achieve the required results!'(OP29) - Citation :
- And he [Amycus Carrow] spat in her [Professor McGonagall] face.
Harry pulled the Cloak off himself, raised his wand and said, 'You shouldn't have done that.'
As Amycus spun round, Harry shouted ‘Crucio!’
The Death Eater was lifted off his feet. He writhed through the air like a drowning man, thrashing and howling in pain, and then, with a crunch and a shattering of glass, he smashed into the front of a bookcase and crumpled, insensible, to the floor.
‘I see what Bellatrix meant,’ said Harry, the blood thundering through his brain, ‘you need to really mean it.’
‘Potter!’ whispered Professor McGonagall, clutching her heart. ‘Potter – you’re here! What -? How -?’ She struggled to pull herself together. ‘Potter, that was foolish!’
‘He spat at you,’ said Harry.
‘Potter, I – that was very – very gallant of you – but don’t you realise -?’
‘Yeah, I do,’ Harry assured her. Somehow her panic steadied him. ‘Professor McGonagall, Voldemort’s on the way.’ (DH30) La prochaine scène n’est pas un dialogue entre eux, mais je pense que vous allez comprendre pourquoi je l’ajoute - Citation :
- Snape looked into her [Professor
McGonagall] eyes.
‘Have you seen Harry Potter, Minerva? Because if you have, I must insist –‘
Professor McGonagall moved faster than Harry could have believed: her wand slashed through the air and for a split second Harry thought that Snape must crumple, unconscious […] (DH30) ----------------------------------------- Harry&McGonagall feels!!!!! | |
